HAWTHORNE RACE COURSE HOSTS WORLD CUP SOCCER PARTIES

Stickney, IL (June 7, 2010)—Beginning on Friday, June 11, Hawthorne Race Course will broadcast all World Cup soccer games. Hawthorne is the place to watch the Cup, providing for all day entertainment with a dedicated World Cup lounge, high-definition televisions, and low-priced food and beverages.

All games will be broadcast throughout Hawthorne’s main level grandstands including a dedicated World Cup soccer lounge. The lounge includes 12 LG high-def flat panel TVs as well as a nine foot LG wall. All TVs in the lounge area will broadcast World Cup games.

Food and beverage specials include: $2.50 made-to-order tacos, and $2 domestic draft beers.
